improvement 5456 5472

Improvement from 5456 to 5472?

I'm using 5456 and feel good. But how about upgrade to 5472? Is it stable or better performance than 5456?

You're probably asking in the wrong newsgroup. These folks are CPP users who only have access to 5384. This might be a better question for the TechBeta newsgroups on the betanews servers.
It is both stabler and faster than 5456. It should be, its a later iteration. With the feature set locked down the push now is to get it debugged and the code optimized.

I agree with Colin. My install of 5472 is noticably faster than the previous build, and its good to see that the team working on polishing up things now most of the features are complete. Optimizations are also noticable since the boot time and memory resources at first login have been reduced significantly as well.
Excuse me for lurking on the public groups seeing as betanews is not working (at least for me) right now... I can't post anything...

I know this may seem dumb and repetative, but where would I go to get the latest build. I have tried all over the msdn site with no luck. Closest I got was when I came to a page that said "The beta experience is closed, blah blah blah"
Thanks :)

If you are allowed to get it, you would know where to get it.

It is closed. No new release for us until RC1.

You have to signin then go to manage your keys and downloads. If you don't have a MSDN subscription this option is not available.
